ok osmoze ogls, i hate to do this, but i have to. currently, from the expenditure for the og bbq, i am owed abt $55. so it amounts to abt $2 per ogl, isn't too large a burden is it. this is not including the money some of u all still owe me for the water guns. haiz, o1 really burned a hole in my pocket, i forked out like $250 of my own money, thankfully i have gotten back a good part of it, with like $70+ still outstanding. so pls pls, i beg of u all, pls return me my money, my parents will kill me if i dun get it back. besides, new yr is coming, cannot owe money over the new yr=p. haha

seek ur kind cooperation and understanding. thanx lots!

ok, since you guys are all like so busy, i am here to update this blog, and keep you all informed of everything.

for you ignorant ones out there, there is an og bbq this fri, if you do not already know. here is the breakdown of the tasks each team has been allocated to do.

Osiris- food
Oceania, Ooga Booga- performance
O2, Oasis- Cooking
Omega, Odyssey- Misc Stuff
Oz- Cleaning up

i will be ordering the food tomorrow, so if you have any special or specific requirements, pls inform me asap! also, if you are able, let me know how many from your team are going, so as to allow me to better estimate how much food to order.

we will start our fire everything by about 6.30 on fri. as there will be interhouse soccer going on in the afternoon, i know some of you all will not be able to make it there by that time. as for the rest, do recommend that you all meet your yr 1s earlier to catch up or soemthing, and bring them over to the pit. the pit has not been confirmed as of yet, i will let you all know when i find out.

do strongly encourage all your year 1s to go. and remember to collect $5 from them as well. pass the money to yee kuang by 18th jan, wed! those who are not going, there is no need to collect the money from them, unless they are willing to fork out to lighten our financial burden, we warmly welcome that.

Hey all! what a week it has been huh? believe all of us had a blast. and we've emerged second! woohoo! haha. but alas, it is coming to an end, and soon we have to return to that dreaded monotonous life of lectures and tutorials.

however, let's not think of that first. just wanted to let you all know that i have created an account at imagestation for us. so all who have taken photos during the course of the week, please upload them there so that all of us can share them ya. get the user id and password from me if you require it k.

also, on another note, sorry to do this but ogls you all still owe me a dollar each. only some of you have paid up. have to do this, cos it amounts to $20+, and i am very very broke. haha.

let us all pray for fine weather tomorrow, and we shall have a great time at sea regatta! kudos to all ogls for the wonderful job done. let us exit with a bang. to tomorrow! cya all.

great fun having you guys as fellow OGLs in Osmoze! Ever heard the feedback from other OGs? We're the enthu-est league!

So, that's that for all 6 OGLs meetings and 2 days of OGL camp. had fun?

And well, it's only 5 more days to O1! rest up now, and remember what Mr. Chad Goh said... "Go and have fun!"

anyway, if anyone is still unsure of anything.. (school cheers, OG cheers, ally cheer, mass dance, cue sheets etc etc) do ask around k? don't end up as lost as the freshmen. =P

2) Wear full uniform to school on 3rd Jan for assembly
3) Familiarize yourself with the Cue Sheet

Osmoze: The Superhero(es) Outfit!

Right right people. disappointing you lot! TSK! LOLx. nah just kidding.. but today's meeting only.. 10 people turned up. A bit... -whatsthewordtouse-

ok whatever. =) no sweat, no worries!

listen up!

There's a major change to the costume. The change? We're scraping i ideas! LOL. well you see, the oh-always-last-minute SC has decided that the costume/outfit/whatever that our Superhero wears must be something that we will wear to Orchard Road. WTH right. so last minute. That's goodbye to all the scales, ponchos, diving suit manx.

Now then, what's the requirements?!

ICIS's (our ally by the way!!) example: White Suit and holding a crystal thingy which is to link back to Ice. Not bad huh? Nice and simple.

BUT BUT! Osmoze, the most original and COOOLEST league will not copy wholesale. *grins*

Our idea?

Denim Jackets + Jeans + Tee-shirt

That's all JEANS babies! I know, I know... totally cowboyish.. but hey, we can be Superheroes from the Wild Wild West right! (though there's not much water there) but still! All Denim is a totally kick-ass outfit AND it's much cooler (I say again, WE ARE COOL!) than all the suits and pants e other leagues will be wearing. hAHhHAx. and they can't wear denim because BLUE IS OUR COLOUR!

right. so here's the tricky part: Where are we gonna get the denim dudes?!

HahHAx. honestly, no idea. BUT BUT, kendrick and i will most probably be getting our own outfit. We all have jeans (DUHX!) and we don't mind buying the jackets. of course, budget-wise, it will be fantastic if we can borrow. BUT, we both do not mind buying.

still, no sweat no worries!

The *erhmx-hemx* SC is still planning stuff and we can only seriously confirm everything once kend sends the idea to the committee incharge. So till then! But just to update you guys on the new... BIG change. yups

AND PEOPLE! Two new cool (haha) and funky ideas:

1)LOGO: Our resident designer(s)--- though I think will only be Charis this time --- will be designing an Osmoze logo by this week! The use? Ahha! We're going to draw on all our orientation tees (our identities) or even paint it on our hands/faces during O1 itself! COOOL HUH!?

Note to Designer Charis (and helpers if any): Please get it done asap so everyone can see the superb logo okies? Any problem or new suggestions or whatever not, do not hesitate to message kend right? THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH!

2)Hair Spray: Being cool, funky and blue, (hey! our tagline?) we are all going to have blue hair during the OGL camp and O1! AHAHHAHAX! Other leagues, beat that! =) now, aint Osmoze cool? beyond cool I know... *grins*

ok.

there's some meetings coming up... but I have no confirmed dates with me here. Kend will post it up asap! OGL Camp is still on, no change! =)

Alrighty. For the sake of those who been missing for the past few meetings, here's a summary of what we had done.

-Came up with our own OG Cheers. (pls check previous post for e excat words)

-Came up with our Team Names AND, had grouped ourselves already. (pls check previous post too)

-painted a very coolbanner, probably the best one among all eight OGs. All credits go to brian and desmond! =) and of course, the Osmoze Eye Power people. Yeayeah.

-organized a Beach Games session for the whole cohort of OGLs. =)

-learnt school aka Victoria Cheers

-learnt mass dances (left with I Want You and Friendship Dance.)

-Storyline of O1: Really simple.. basically we're training the freshmen to be superheroes. Twist: there's some EVIL OGLS among us... so yup, we gotta choose some from our OG. please ask kendrick for the details.
No sweat if you're really blur about the storyline now, just come for the next meeting and the OGL camp and find out for yoursel! =)

-please collect consent forms from me asap. OR, hand them in asap too. thanks!

Yes. It's tentative anyway so if there's any last minute changes, we will sms you or something. Note: the contact web is in a big mess now as there's some people overseas ehx? Aint worry!! We will try to ensure everyone gets the message. Yup!

banner painting!

yay we successfully finished painting our banner today. and pardon my lack of modesty but allow me to say it was great =D and allow me to give a BIG THANKS to desmond and brian for almost single handedly(or double handedly since they are 2 pple... ok not funny) designing the banner. and a great thanks to everyone who came down and helped out in painting the banner. hahas i realised our grp a lot pple like use eye power a lot. haha. i guess for banner since u cant draw den its ok. but i hope when it comes to other things i hope we wont eye power liao. haha. yupz

and guys rmbr friday we're meeting at 1 and pls mail me ur questions by wednesday so i can type the proposal by friday. and if anyone has ideas for costume pls bring up on friday i tink we need finish coming up with it over the weekend. yup.

yea and on og outing we were thinking during the dec break when theres a period no ogl meetings we can meet up and do sth. so far shuqi has suggested cycling/roller-blading and yeek has suggested town... so anyone has suggestions juz bring up yupz...

hey everyone great job on friday everyone did their jobs as station masters realli well yupz. great job!! haha and since its a bonding session i hope everyone bonded... although we didnt actually get to play much i hope we bonded through the rugby monkey game hahas... well i tink given the time contraints and unforseen circumstances, we did realli well. keep it up!

monday we will be painting banners. desmond pls have a design that u can draw ready. yvette remember to bring chalk. i will bring newspapers. yupz. brushes we will try to get from sc(she fong) or ct council (shuqi) otherwise we will have to buy yupz...
and we will need to collect money to pay for the 4.50 watermelon too yupz..

oh and guys i was thinking if anyone wanted to go for og outing? haha juz a suggestion yupz if you guys want maybe one day after ogl meeting we can go somewhere..

honestly speaking, today was just pure fun. no discussions etc. as it rained earlier on in the morning, Beach Games were postponed to afternoon and well, we did mass dance first instead.

2) This coming monday, 28th Nov, gonna be Banner Painting Day. Paint and cloth will be provided. So Osmoze, please bring your own paintbrushes or whatever painting materials.

people as u all know friday all the ogls are going to be beach for bonding and we're gonna be station masters. yupz so i need you guys to be in school by 8.15am so that we can allocate station masters and brief u guys on what to do.

Alrighty. our second OGL meeting. fantastic isn't it everyone? haha! well, those who missed it today, we really hope you guys can turn up for the upcoming sessions! =) but for now, here you go, the summary of what we did:

Date: 22nd November, Tuesday

more discussion. finalized on point system, jail system, Osmoze Power Suit(s), Osmoze Powers aka Hydro Extermination, our teammates + team names, Osmoze Cheers, etc etc. (details: please check with kendrick asap. thanks! but relax, we probably will recap during the next meetings, yup!)

*** i'll post the correct groupings after everything is finalised. there's quite of problems now. eg. Yvette thought she's in Trojan instead of Osmoze. hmmm. ok so after everything is settled... i will put up the list. =) check back soon!

and lunch after the discussion. then games and mass dance. games were alright. but Osmoze totally rocked huh?! mass dance was not bad too. we learnt tribal dance and whiney whiney again. =) dun worry if you missed today's session, there should be more dance training in the next few meetings, especially during our OGL camp which by the way is on 27th and 28th December.

***for those who will be going overseas and gonna miss the upcoming meetings, please try to come back here as we will be updating information after every meetings or when there is a need to.
